The Will/Grundy Emergency Medical Services System is a network of fire departments, ambulance services, industrial responders, training centers and hospitals, all committed to providing the highest quality of pre-hospital patient care. Silver Cross Hospital, a Thomson Reuters 100 Top Hospitals National award winner for the last six consecutive years, is the state-designated Resource Hospital for the Will/Grundy EMS System and has been since the System's inception in May of 1975. Together, Will/Grundy EMS and Silver Cross Hospital provide primary and continuing medical education, quality assurance and administrative support to our agencies and providers.

Lonnie Polhemus, RN, BSN, NREMT-P, Education Coordinator: lpolhemus@silvercross.org Lonnie handles the Paramedic Education Program, American Heart Association (AHA) Community Training Center (CTC), and ACLS, PALS and PHTLS courses taught within the Paramedic Program. Audrey Finkel, MS, EMT-P, Educator: afinkel@silvercross.org Audrey handles QA/QI, the CME program, and assists as an Instructor for the Paramedic Program and specialty courses.
