Silver Cross Emergency Medical Services System
Silver Cross (formerly Will/Grundy) EMS System is located in New Lenox, IL. The Silver Cross EMS System is a network of fire departments, ambulance services, industrial responders, training centers, dispatch centers, and hospitals, all committed to coordinate pre-hospital patient care. Silver Cross Hospital, a 100 Top Hospitals National award winner for seven consecutive years, is the state-designated Resource Hospital for the Silver Cross EMS System and has been since the System's inception in May of 1975. The Silver Cross EMS System provides primary and continuing medical education, quality assurance and administrative support to this network of agencies and providers.
